Breakfast in North Scottsdale?

I'm taking the family to McDonalds' ranch this weekend and wanted to grab some breakfast before. I'm thinking Over Easy in the Ice Den is somewhat close, but am looking for a few more options.

Depending on your "family" - maybe not so much small children -- the Herb Box at DC Ranch on Pima is very good.

A new breakfast place has opened on 100th St and VIa Linda called The Egg I am.
I drove by it the other day and it looked busy! I'm hoping to give it a try this weekend.

Not much to choose from. Butterfield's is ok, some people like it, I give it about a B,B-. JPs is much better. We really like Over Easy, but feel it has slipped a little lately. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but Four Peaks breakfast/brunch is awesome.
