This was a really nice event, a gorgeous evening, I sampled several items, good but not mind-blowing.What surprised me though was... these folks could really use some help in the marketing and sales departments...

I don't think a single one had menus, business cards or any other printed material to take away. I know it's the digital age, I know a lot of them have changing menus, but I'm not bookmarking stuff on my iPhone while I'm trying to enjoy the event. Even a simple card with the website or ANYTHING would help.
Also, far too many only displayed their menu on small chalkboards set on the ground. As the event fills up, these become blocked by the masses. You then have folks walking by, all they see is something like "Acme Food Truck" on the side of the truck, and you've got NO CLUE what's to eat.
And as a result you get folks trying to walk up to the already congested window to try to find a menu, adding to the confusion.
These trucks all need BIG, RAISED MENUS.
That's my two cents, worth every penny. :-)
