Potato Salad

I live in LA and have run the discussion on what's the best potato salad in LA. All that were suggested I have sampled. Nate'n Al's Deli had a fabulous one for 30 years and then they changed it...

So forget it - cannot get great potato salad at a restaurant.

WHAT are your or your grandmother's, your mother's, your aunt's famous recipes????

I'm looking for creamy potato salad - not German potato salad.

Come on - let's find the perfect one!

The bacon potato salad at Cole's is pretty great.

In all of the L.A area I have found just three places that serve a potato salad that I like.

Look, I explained that I had sampled every potato salad on the board discussion...Have not tried the ones in Monrovia since I'm not even sure how to drive there.
I am new to this site. I see that there are very specific rules that one must follow and therefore i shall review those and not bother anyone anymore.

All you have to do is repost your request for a recipe on the home cooking site. I like mine with mayo, lots of h/b eggs, sp, and little mustard and chopped onions. Go from that.

The rules aren't too onerous or restrictive. Basically, if you stay on-topic and civil and don't spam, you'll be fine. The moderators are quick to move threads if they're off-topic. Anything that's not specifically about LA -- home recipes, for example -- normally gets moved to one of the more general boards.

Clementine has great potato salad However, it is considered a seasonal item (Summer) and will only be available for another 2 weeks.

Two places came to mind. Les Sister's in Chatsworth. And Brent's Deli in Northridge. Both creamy and good.,

i love the potato salad at auntie ems kitchen in eagle rock. it's sooo good. creamy and delish! best i've ever had.

I've taken a liking to the potato salad at Market Grill, which is not exactly creamy or German... but if restaurants are out, wouldn't this query be better suited to the Recipe boards?
