T&T is technically west of Main and I bet it has glucose.

thnx, I'll check it out. So far Whole Foods, bulk stores, London Drugs, Michaels came up bupkiss. If they don't have it I'll have to head out to Galloways (too bad they aren't on Denman anymore).

Finally went East of Main and got some at Gourmet Warehouse as I also needed cocoa butter. Haven't been in for awhile and it's really expanded. Despite the prices it's a pretty cool place to spend an hour or so.

I'm making marzipan pears to put on a wedding cake I'm making for a family wedding.

Got mine at Galloway's in Richmond ($4.99/500g), .but use it for silvering/mirroring glass ;-)

Yep,and as it turned out - Michael's - one of the first places I tried, did have it in stock but the staff person I asked was clueless!

Here's the cake I made and the glucose was used in the marzipan pears.

Sounds like you're sorted now, and it's not west of Main, but for future reference, Famous Foods also carries it (230g for $1.69 when I bought it).
