Eureka Burger Coming To SLO - Any Good?
So it looks like SLO is getting another burger joint, with Eureka Burger opening next month at the corner of Chorro and Marsh (in the spot formerly occupied by Corner View Restaurant). They have other locations in Fresno and Redlands, and I'm wondering if anyone's ever tried them before. I've been wanting to try Habit as well, but have heard some less than stellar reviews about them, so hoping Eureka is better.

Too bad some SLO entreprenuer can' t bring in a Burger Hut, a family burger place started in Chico. Good solid burgers with a build-it yer-own style condiment bar since the 80's. Giant baskets of fresh, not frozen, fries. Very family friendly, usually a "sports team room" big enough for after-game chowing. Three Chico locations and now in El Dorado Hills and Roseville.
IMO SLO is starting to cater to the tourists, and lacks good solid dining choices for families. We locals don't need more snooty trendy spots.

Yup. very good. Beer selection is above average and food is (at least here in Fresno) consistently good. They also have live music every Thursday night. Also agree that you should give them a couple of weeks to work the kinks out. So far as I know SLO would be only the third location. (Redding was first, followed by Fresno.)
