ANCIENT POSTS (INCLUDING LOCKED ONES) SHOWING UP AS UNREAD/WITH FEWER RESPONSES?

WTF? I go on the unread posts list and it shows me threads as if I just jumped into a time machine and went back a week or so.

What's going on?

Same old list. Same old posts. This is VERY strange.

Try clearing your cache and doing a hard refresh on the page. Several people I've talked to today can't get to Unread Posts at all (Engineering has been alerted), so there's a good chance you're getting served a cached version of the page you're trying to reach, either by your browser or by an upstream caching server.

OK. Thanks for that, Jacquilynne, I'll try that. I have CH saved as one of my top websites, so may have to reload entirely.

My cache is empty. Yet I STILL see OLD posts as unread.

A great example is a post I made on the Manhattan board about a restaurant 2 days ago. It indicates that I replied 16 minutes ago -- which I have not, and that there are only 2 replies -- which is SIMPLY NOT TRUE, as can be checked when actually going on that thread.

Please, please, please.... what's going on?

Seriously. This is some very strange behavior. Maintenance? Anyone?

Have you somehow gone from the "Recent Activity" button/setting to "My Post Date" by any chance?

Well, I generally start in my profile view under activity, then move on to the following tab where I click unread posts. I haven't checked in a while so maybe things are different.

I'll also see what the scoop is with your suggestion. Muchas gracias.
