Nori on EV is now a noodle place?! ISO replacement delivery
Just called they said same owners but now they're doibg noodles and dumplings now. Boooo!
Nori was the closest thing to a delivery version of takahashi. Kanoyama is a bit too expensive. Ginger will do for tonigjt but I haven't ordered from tere in years. I'm hesitant to trust sushi reviews on menupages et all, a cheap spicy tuna roll does not make a place good.
Fu gets good reviews as does shima. Anyone got tips? Preferably a place with real crab in the cali rolls and place that doesn't serve in metal tins. I find it imparts a bad taste.
Salmon sashimi
Mackerel sashini
Real crab cali roll
Eel avocado roll
Tuna roll
Uni sushi
That's my std go to delivery order.
Thx all.

In my experience Fu was better than Nori (although I was only at Nori once, maybe I was there on an off night because I expected it to be better) however it was recently shut down by the health department (with some supposedly not pleasant reviews) and I haven't been back since they reopened.

re: lucyj
It's still opened but a friend said his delivery is gross. Either way sushi places were getting bad grades often because they don't keep the fish at the legal temperatures. However those temperatures are more appropriate for serving the fish.
I was ready to give Fu a try til I heard from that friend, however I'd give it a chance. It's very close by, but so is Takahachi and I see no reason to go elsewhere for that price range. $4.50 uni and it was pretty good.
