Breakfast Close to Hilton Downtown

Any options other than the hotel itself or Shopsy's in the Sheraton.

Dont want to go too far afield.

  1. Bannock at Queen and Bay has counter service and The Gabardine on Bay south of Richmond is also open for breakfast, I think.

The Gabardine's breakfast is more pastries and a few breakfast-type sandwiches iirc. Not a bacon & eggs type place. Nearest diner is the Senator, about five to ten minute walk north and east. Not cheap, but good.

Was back at the Senator Sunday for first in a long time visit. It was GREAT!

French toast and Senator Omellete. Both were very large servings and as usual top quality.

I also noticed that the prices in the city have caught up with them so they are right in line now.

        Back in the rotation! shhhhhhh
