Tonight, for entree, we had the roasted goat, venison, and the braised wild boar - with a 1998 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon. While eating my venison and sampling the others, I couldn't help but think how much better if I had saved the wine to go with my backyard grilling of a well-marbled spencer steak.

Escamoles did not catch my fancy, and Bistro K served reheated stale coffee for which we were not charged after a mild complaint.
