I would appreciate some recs for a quick mid-week lunch near the Ritz Carlton (no more than ten minutes walking). Open to seafood, sushi, asian fusion or american. Thanks.

Try The Met on the corner of Newbury and Darmouth. They do breakfast as well

OP said no more than 10 min walk. That rules out anything on Newbury.

i think peeps are confusing the "new" and the "old" ritz, the latter now being the taj.

9 lives suggestion is good. You can also walk up Newbury to Stephanie's.

That would probably be more than a ten minute walk ....

Chinatown is right next to you.

        In the other direction:
        Silvertone
        Sam Lagrassas
        Marliave

sorry, but i'd rather starve than eat at stephanie's. it's also further than 10 mins from the ritz. veronica, perhaps you're thinking of the taj? the "old" ritz?

montien is right there - ask for the separate thai menu. penang is also great malaysian.

you are very close to Chinatown where you can find seafood, sushi, though not much american or fusion food.
