Coffee shops or inexpensive bar/restaurants for discussion group meetings?

I'm looking for a free or very inexpensive meeting place for a monthly evening discussion group. Does anyone know of a coffee shop, bar or restaurant with a semi-private area which could be used for such a purpose on weekday evenings or weekend afternoons? Both public transportation accessibility and parking would be a huge plus, as would be tasty snacks or good coffee.
