An epiphany
So I went to the new Whataburger in my neighborhood. I hadn't been to a Whataburger in probably thirty years, nor do I frequent fast food restaurants much so I have to stand and stare at the menu for a while to see what they have. I saw a green-chile-cheeseburger on the menu and ordered it. The diced chile tasted FRESH-ROASTED. It actually had some heat. The flavor of the meat was excellent. The cheese wasn't spectacular, but it complemented the burger and chile fairly well. I was blown away at how good it was for a fast-food burger!
Do all Whataburgers roast their own chiles?
