Late, solo dinner options near Sofitel

I'm flying into Philadelphia tonight on business, and staying at the Sofitel, rather than spending the holiday at home like a civilized person. Any ideas for a place to grab a dinner alone on a Sunday night, easily walkable (w/in a half-dozen blocks or so) near the hotel, that would be open for a walk-in at 10pm or so? I'd rather avoid the hotel restaurant for something a little more homey if at all possible, but I'm open to all cuisines: noodles, sushi, burgers, seafood... Basically, anything to put a smile on my face and feel welcoming to me and my Kindle. Budget isn't overly a concern, but I'd probably prefer comfy and casual to haute-cuisine.

Many thanks,

--Chris

Ended up at Village Whiskey, which was perfect. Thanks!

Don't go to the restaurant in the Sofitel (self-proclaimed "Urban Chic Lounge"). Other nearby hotels do have good restaurants though I don't think any serve very late on Sunday.

I second Village Whiskey, 11pm is right I think. Another good option is Pub & Kitchen at 20th & Lombard, it's slightly outside the six block range but they serve until 1. It's a little more neighborhoody than VW. A closer option that serves til 1 is Good Dog on 15th St. The food isn't great IMO but the roquefort stuffed burger is pretty awesome as are the fries.

Three blocks due east, at the corner (more or less) of 20th and Sansom is Village Whiskey. They don't takemreservations and are usually packed, but I would think you could easily get in at 10pm on a Sunday. I think they serve until 11. Great burgers as well as other food and drink.
