Aldi opening in Leominster this week [moved from Southern New England]
There is a new Aldi opening in Leominster this week right next to the Super Walmart. I've only been to an Aldi once and it was a quick trip. I remember good chocolate from Germany but that's about it. Anyone an Aldi regular here? Will it be worth the short trip there for a regular weekly shop? One of my favorite farm stands, Harper's, is right down the street so I may stop in and check it out.

I do almost all the shopping for my family at Aldi and I love it! ALL my pantry staples (flour, eggs, canned goods, etc) come from Aldi. I'll get some of our produce there, but the selection is small - mostly just the basics, the meat selection is just so-so. And of course, like you said, THE CHOCOLATE!
