Breakfast in Amman Jordan, particularly pancakes

Killer pancakes at Grissini, a restaurant located behind the American embassy. Looks new, good service, standard breakfast items but the berry and walnut-cinnamon pancakes are great. Great reminder of 'back home' for americans. It's in Abdoun, on what I refer to as Embassy road, behind the Second Cup/Cilantro strip.

I remember surprisingly good food at the Hisham Hotel, a funky family run place in the embassy area. As I recall it was some sort of Bavarian beer garden decor, but really full flavored offerings with friendly service.
