This is a weird question but I am from out of town and was going to take some BBQ sauce back to my state with me. Trying to figure out which would be the best KC BBQ sauces to pick up. I see that Arthur Bryant's, Gates, Bigg's, Smokehouse, and many others have sauces in a grocery store. Any suggestions. I have friends who love BBQ so just wanted to take some back for them to try.

Arthur Bryant's original, Gates Hot, Zarda's, and a wild card or two

How is the Arthur Bryant's spicy?

Cowtown is the sauce from OK Joe's. I have a lot of friends who have moved away that request it when I visit. I like Gate's as well for a general, all purpose sauce.

I second cowtown, but for spicy nothing beats Rufus Teague blazing hot for me.

Luckily they are not too expensive and you can try quite a few. I like Hayward's sauce.

I recall Maull's being about the best. it is KC style.
