My husband and I are coming to San Francisco in mid February.
A trip that we are both really excited about.
And we are looking for some recommendations on where we should go.
We are both foodies as we are both in the industry. Him being a Chef and myself being a Pastry Chef.
So when we go on vacation its ALL about the food and wine.
All the other stuff is extra :)

We are definitely going to go to Fleur de Lys and are looking for one more higher end place to go.

As for what else we're not sure.
So any recos would be greatly appreciated.

We are staying downtown in the financial district I believe.

there is a long recent thread about high end dining by 'uhockey'. The only thing is, he always calls and gets the very long extra tasting menus. I believe his best meal of recent trip was the chef's table at Saison. The chef's table there is *really* in the kitchen, and is a very special meal.
