DH and I will be doing a classic road trip. Any "don't miss" places for food on the Bourbon Trail?

I can highly recommend Wallace Station. Just a great place. The drive to get there is as beautiful as you'll find.

Littleman, We are newly to this area and had no idea where to go for our anniversary. Thank you for your recommendation. My husband and I had lunch at Heirloom today; wow! Everything was perfect: service, selections, flavors, portions. Even though I had wanted to, I was afraid to order the soup du jour, because I wouldn't be able to include dessert. However, that wouldn't have been a problem and the next time I will order the soup. My husband raved over it! We will be going back!

        2. Make sure, if you have any questions at all about the Bourbon Trail, to check in with Mint Julep Tours. They are the experts on the area. You can reach them at info[at]mintjuleptours[dot]com. They are so much fun! Have a great time.
