Stop in Midway, KY just W of Lexington. Wallace Station has outstanding fried chicken. Wild Turkey is just S of Midway.

Littleman, We are newly to this area and had no idea where to go for our anniversary. Thank you for your recommendation. My husband and I had lunch at Heirloom today; wow! Everything was perfect: service, selections, flavors, portions. Even though I had wanted to, I was afraid to order the soup du jour, because I wouldn't be able to include dessert. However, that wouldn't have been a problem and the next time I will order the soup. My husband raved over it! We will be going back!
