Does anyone know where to buy a great bialy in West LA?
I've been buying bialys in New York for years. I fell in love with bialy's especially from Murry's Stergeon Shop, and have been ordering them from them for years, but it's just too expensive now, and I'd like to find them here on the West side, if possible. I frequent Santa Monica, Beverly Hlls, Venice, Culver City and even West Hollywood -- so if anyone has a suggestion I'd appreciate it.
Many thanks

I suggest that you try Continental Kosher Bakery at 12419 Burbank Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley. I am a big fan of bialys and they are the best I've had short of the one's my wife makes based on Mimi Sheraton's recipe in her book "The Bialy Eaters." Not exactly the westside but worth the trip.

I grew up eating bialys in NY. i've found decent ones here at the Beverly Hills Sunday Farmers Market. There's a bread/bagel stand and they sell bialys. I remember once i bought them towards the end of their shift and they gave me a free one or charged me less, it was something like that.
