O'O Farm Lunch Tour on Maui?
Has anyone had the O'O Farm Lunch Tour recently? I'd love to hear about it. The website says reservations available Monday - Thursday in one spot and Wednesday & Thursday only in another. Guess I can call to find out about that. I'm interested to hear what you had to eat and how the whole experience was. Should I make a res for our December trip? Thanks!

re: russkar
russkar, mahalo! Think we will like it too. I'm both a food and garden geek.
Anyone else tried this? The farm supplies Chef James McDonald's restaurants I'o, Pacific'o and Feast at Lele in Lahaina. TA has good reviews, but I'd like the Chow Hound opinion. It does seem like a foodie thing to do.
How was the food? What did you eat? Who was your chef? Did you get to watch food prep as well as harvest ingredients? Meet any interesting people? What wine would you recommend bringing with you? (and where to buy it on Maui) Also, do I need to make res well in advance or can I wait and make sure the weather looks good? I'm so dreaming about our 6th trip to Hawaii in December, any details you can share will bring the feeling of Aloha closer!

re: TeriS
Food was good.
We ate the veggies we harvested and some fresh Island fish that the Chef from I'O brought.
You can watch some of the Prep if your not still looking at the farm.
Wines are available all over but Long's Drugs seems to have a decent selection.
Wine is a personal choice so either a nice white or red depending on the mood.
Make Resys early because it does fill up.
Met people from all over the World, Table is communal.
