Help! Need recs for restaurants with yummy abundant mussels in SF.

a friend is coming in from florida this weekend and mentioned mussels as her choice for saturday nite dinner. will go anywhere in SF. any recs? ithanks

I think Absinthe's are better than Plouf's. You might enjoy the al fresco near union square thing, give plouf a try, but if you want cocktails and a classic bar, head over to Absinthe.

(What I didn't like about Plouf in several visits is the relative tastelessness of the broths; could have been bad days)
