  1. I haven't ever been, but Frank's in the warehouse district has several reviews on this board.

    1. I recall enjoying green chile cheese fries and a crispy foot long hot dog at Shady Grove... sounds like a plan for Sunday...

      1. The best I've had so far is Clem's Hot Diggity Dogs. This is the description from their FB page:

we serve a 100 % beef dog in a natural casing served on a buttered toasted new england style lobster roll, we also serve kettle chips sodas water and HOT BOILED PEANUTS (VEGAN CRAWFISH)

Where can you buy those New England Lobster Roll buns? My mother has been looking for those. I told her I think Man Bites Dog uses them (do they?) and now Clem's' too?

As for hot dogs, I buy the 10-pound box of Vienna Beef skin-on hot dogs at Restaurant Depot and make my own hot dogs at home. Here was today's lunch (I call them Austin-style ;-). They cost about $1.10/each when you make them at home.

        2. I have enjoyed the dogs at Mike and Mike's cart at 7th and Congress way more than anything I have had indoors. Plus at $2.50 I can have a Chicago style for dessert.
