Does anyone know if they have closed? I was there a couple weekends ago and it wasn't opened. Didn't have time to take a look on the note on the door so I'm wondering if anyone has been recently?

According to a poster on Yelp, Newport once again has new management and is closed for renovation for three months (starting in mid-August and running through mid-November). I have no confirmation of this, but I'm inclined to believe it since the general consensus seems to be that quality had declined under the last round of new management (which changed the name to Newport) and the place could certainly use physical renovation. Hopefully this account is true and new management will bring back the glory days of Heaven Star.

This does not sound good. Very strange, as the place seems to always be packed. It would be a bummer if I had to drive all the way down to Denver to get a dim sum fix.
