Brew Like a Monk
Anyone else read this book? I'm just finishing it up and think it's been an interesting read. I picked it up because I'm going to start brewing Belgian styles. I like how it's more of a philosophy of brewing rather than a how-to. If you're reading this book you probably already know how to.

FYI - The author, Stan Hieronymus , also has one of the better beer blogs at http://appellationbeer.com/blog/

re: The Professor
Just finishing up Farmhouse Ales. I think it makes a pretty good pair with Brew Like a Monk on the brewing bookshelf. Farmhouse Ales makes the case that Biere de Gardes and Saisons don't fall into easily defined categories. I like that aspect of both. BJCP guidelines seems to have narrowed both down to levels that eliminate a lot of the bieres in Northern France/Southern Belgium.
