Corkage fee 'free' nights

curious what is appropriate when restaurants offer nights like sun or Monday when guests can bring their own wine.

Extra cash for somm or add gratuity of 25 to 30 percent of bill . . .

  1. I tend to tip very well on no cork places... whether one day a week or full time (i.e. La Sirene)

    Unless the Sommelier decants and pours for me I see no reason to do anything for him/her. The waiter does suffer without drinks on the bill. In fact, even if I pay a reasonable corkage I up the tip %
