Great guy. Best fish taco's around. Love the salsa's. Lines can get long. Sometimes you handle the cash register and pour your own drink. Just a guy next to a pop up tent.

I like doing all the topping myself but they never seem to know what they have run out off. Always losing orders. Fish kinda soggy. It's right up the street from Ricky's so you can easily do a taste test.

Crispy fish. Easy parking. Place kinda dirty/ghetto. The first place in the area to serve fish tacos.

Cute neighborhood place but my least favorite fish taco. The fish is over cooked. The whole taco is sloppy.

there is a hidden gem of a fish taco stand over at the atwater farmers market. it's pretty close to silverlake and i just wanted to mention how good it is! i've not been to best fish taco ensenada or Rickys (one day i will, promise!) but this atwater fm stall is so darn good i'm worried it'll ruin fish tacos for me from other places.

Ricky's all the way.

None of the others come close. Best Fish Taco Ensenada runs hot and cold ... almost always cold. Poorly executed and the salsa bar is begging for a visit from the health department. Check for flies before applying to food.

Yup, except Ricky's is only open for lunch and only a handful of days a week so sometimes you need an alternative.

I also love Ricky's. I think his fish tacos are much better than his shrimp tacos. Have not had a chance to try his lobster tacos yet.

I just had one of his lobster tacos Sunday. It was...okay. It was really big (he uses two tortillas end to end, so about twice the size of his regular fish tacos) which would have been great had the lobster been well cooked and actually tasted of lobster.

His fish and shrimp tacos are so much better.

I've had the Senor Fish lobster tacos and they are not lobstery either. Maybe the lobster should be grilled and not fried.

yep, had the lobster tacos once don't care to do it again. It IS a big taco, and a decent value, but not nearly as good as fish/shrimp

Had some lobster tacos at La Grand Orange once. Very good, but expensive.

I agree with weinermobile. I like the fish tacos at Ricky's better than the shrimp. I think it's the batter / fish ratio. There's more batter on the shrimp as they're smaller pieces.

Yes, the Ricky's fish tacos are so amazingly crunchy on the outside and so moist, tender and flavorful on the inside. I love shrimp but his shrimp tacos just don't do it for me like his wonderful fish tacos do.

Ahh, to live in Silver Lake and have access to Ricky's Fish Tacos. The shrimp tacos are awesome too. I wouldlove to just sit and eat a pile of that fish by itself it is so good.
