Need a birthday cake in Tucson

I am not from Tucson, I need to order a nice birthday cake for an upcoming trip.

You know, Rincon Market has started baking cakes recently, and the cake slices I've tried have been quite delightful. You might want to check them out, as they are close to UA and closer than AJ's to your hotel.

Surprisingly enough, Albertson's doesn't do a bad job on a custom ordered cake, need a few days notice.

Agreed. They look and taste good, not precious, but nice and the people in the bakery really aim to please. You might want to try a Food City, too, some have their own spectacular bakeries.

Tucson is really spread out, geographically. What part of town will you be visiting?

If you will be in the Catalina Foothills, AJ's Fine Foods makes very nice cakes, though they are pricey.

Our hotel is near the airport, so in that area would probably be best.

Tucson is very spread out, and resources are limited. We drove 12 miles to A.J's. this week to pick up a BD cake. They are quite good, and nicer than you will easily find elsewhere.

What I'm really amazed about AJ's is the huge varity of Botox cutie pies available.
