Store with good beer selection near Winston

Any stores or places that have good beer selection in or near Winston? Looking for artisanal/microbrewed type beers.

Or other alcoholic beverages for that matter---ciders, whiskeys, etc

City Beverage on Burke St. has an amazing selection and the best in town. There's also Total Wine on Stratford Rd. which has a pretty good variety as well. I prefer City not only for its wider selection, but also because they're locally owned.

Regarding whiskeys, they're sold only at county-owned ABC stores. You can google to find the ones in Forsyth County.

I'm a big fan of Bestway in Greensboro. They have a great selection and good prices. I've also heard good things about City Beverage

I will second city beverage and Total Wine. City Beverage gets my vote. Hit their website, they have weekly tasting events and they just had their biannual clear out the inventory sale where a lot of stuff is 60% off.

For whisky you may want to visit a range of different local stores. Many times they will have different offerings
