Help with Birthday Dinner for a group

I've been dying to try the following restaurants:
Ten Tables, Oleana, Bondir

Unfortunately, it seems they're all too small to handle the group of 8-10 that I'm hoping to invite to my birthday dinner.

Does anyone have any suggestions for someplace equally as delicious that can accommodate a group? I like Gaslight and know that could work, but I'm hoping to try something new.

Thank you!

  1. Rendezvous in Central Square. Thay are happy to accommodate a group that size and do a great job.

    1. I have 3 suggestions that won't disappoint. The Capital Grille, any of its locations; Blue Ginger in Wellesley; Alta Strada in Wellesley. All are great restaurants for a special occasions.

i haven't eaten at Alta Strada but i strongly do not recommend either of the other two (given your list, i don't think you would have considered them anyway.)

kmn, you did call oleana? we sat next to a table of 8 (i think) last time we were there. love it.

otherwise: evoo, bergamot, harvest, island creek oyster bar, toro, union bar and grill, erbaluce?also, gaslight has same owners as Aquitaine (which we prefer).
