Best Cocktails for Friday Night Birthday Celebration in the City!

Hi CHs.

Looking for a place to head on a Friday night to celebrate my 30th birthday with friends downtown Toronto. Only requirement is that the place can accommodate a group of around 15 people (maybe would reserve us a space) and makes delicious cocktails! Yummy appetizers would be great too.

Loved the drinks at Ame, but hear that they are closed?!

Any thoughts?

How about Lee Lounge on King St? Or a bar inside the Thompson hotel? Good cocktails, cool vibe, and option to eat as well. Also, you'd be within walking distance to all the other bars and clubs. Happy Birthday!

        Thanks!
I had thought about Lee Lounge too- but I go there often- so wanted something new..... Thanks to JennaBean- Bar Chef was fantastic!!!! Those molecular cocktails are quite the experience, the service was amazing- and the vibe was perfect!

Glad you enjoyed it. It is a bit much for some people but I love the art of the cocktail so to speak.

I'd go to the Drake. You can reserve a spot on the rooftop (it's heated).

Bar Chef would fit the bill.

Thanks JennaBean. The only hiccup would be that they don't take reservations....looks like exactly what I'm looking for though.

            Any other thoughts?
