I tried Trader Joe's before and did not really like their brand.

I use it for apple strudel and Aussie meat pies.

Dufour is pricey, but excellent. It's available at Berkeley Bowl and Whole Foods.

At Berkeley Bowl, Dufour is in the freezer section. Price is something like 9.49$ or 10.49$, net wt. 14 oz.

Right, Dufour is frozen. At Whole Foods it's around the same price, or maybe a buck or two more.

When I mentioned how much Downtown Bakery in the hinterlands of Healdsburg commands for its frozen puff pastry dough, La Bedaine's owner seemed to perk to the idea of selling some for home bakers.
