Who sells the best ready made puff pastry in the east bay?

I tried Trader Joe's before and did not really like their brand.

I use it for apple strudel and Aussie meat pies.

Dufour is pricey, but excellent. It's available at Berkeley Bowl and Whole Foods.

At Berkeley Bowl, Dufour is in the freezer section. Price is something like 9.49$ or 10.49$, net wt. 14 oz.

Right, Dufour is frozen. At Whole Foods it's around the same price, or maybe a buck or two more.

I think I've seen it in the freezer at the Pasta Shop and Euromix.

        Thanks!
I will do a local price check.

I am thinking ultra gourmet Aussie meat pies with Dufour puff pastry and minced meat from "The Local Butcher Shop" in Berzerkeley.

La Farine sells puff pastry. It's really good. I call them when I need it, but they usually have at least several pounds available.

La Bedaine sells some stuff with puff pastry, don't they? He might make extra by special order.

When I mentioned how much Downtown Bakery in the hinterlands of Healdsburg commands for its frozen puff pastry dough, La Bedaine's owner seemed to perk to the idea of selling some for home bakers.
