What happened to the feature where, when you're reading a thread, links to related threads used to display at the bottom? It doesn't display anymore. Did I miss something? Some option I inadvertently changed?

Hope its not going away - this is one of the single most helpful features on the site, much more helpful than the search box!

I'm surprised no one noticed that had gone missing. We'll try to figure out why, thanks for the heads up.

It worked again briefly but isn't anymore. I hope you guys can get it fixed.

i agree that it's a very handy feature, especially for newcomers that just happen to stumble across the site while searching for something. it's a good way for new folks to fall into the "vortex" and realize how much info is here, and maybe it helps to cut down on some of the repetitive questions from new folks, if they lurk before posting. hope engineering can fix this.

STILL isn't working, which is a real bummer. It directs posters to threads where the same question or rant they are posing has been answered numerous times, and we now can't link to them passive-aggressively....

So, umm. Is there a plan to bring these back or what?

Are you sure it's gone? Because I'm seeing a list of related threads right below this, right now.

Weird, weird, weird - they were there when I posted that, not 30 minutes ago - now they're gone again.

As stated earlier in this thread, we are aware of the problem and do intend to restore Related Threads. The removal of this feature was not intentional. Thank you for your patience.

thanks for your help. I just had an interesting experience... the related threads was showing so I clicked on one and read it, then hit [back] to go back to the first thread and the related threads had disappeared.

interesting, it seems to work on the first thread that I open when I log into chowhound, but not on any threads after that, even if i go back to the original thread.
