Mothers-in-Law Dinner in Forrestville/Russian River

Need a suggestion for the Forrestville/Russian River area for my wife to take out her fellow mother-in-law tonight. The family hangs in the balance, please help.

Maybe someone who has tried Corks restaurant at the Russian River Vineyards can give an opinion. We stopped by there for wine tasting a couple of weeks ago but didn't eat. The wines were great, they were very friendly and it is a very pretty property. This is right in Forestville.

If they don't mind a little driving, Bistro des Copains in Occidental is a beautiful little spot, we had a great dinner there and it has been recommended here several times.

we spent a recent weekend in Forestville and the landlady recommended Corks. we went to a casual tavern and didn't try it. another place popular with locals in Guerneville is Boon Eat + Drink, but we haven't yet tried it either.

Boon Eat + Drink was good when we went a few months ago. Bistro des Copains is an excellent choice, was there last week and as good as ever. In between is Underwood in Graton which is also pretty solid.

This should probably be on the SF board. But, I'll try to sneak this one through. Check out the Farmhouse. It's pricey, but very good and a different kind of place. The girls will love it.

Thank you Gail, but I think The Farmhouse might be a little too pricey. Would like to get out for around $100 for two.
