Looking for honeymoon dinner Barcelona

My close friends are going to be in Barcelona on their honeymoon, and I have been looking for a restaurant to send them to as part of their gift. I have looked at a number of places on these boards (Cinq Sentits, Alkimia, Con Gracia, Windsor, and such), but can't seem to find the perfect one for the dinner I'm looking for. If anyone has any insight about a place with a romantic atmosphere (would love if it had a rustic or cavernous feel like many of the places in the old gothic area), great Spanish/Catalan food (preferably with wine pairings, and not necessarily gastronomic menu), and any special/personal touch in terms of service, I would really appreciate any information you could pass on to me. I'm looking to spend about 45-90 euros per person...

Thanks!

P.S. Has anyone heard of Blau Bcn? Haven't seen much information about it on here, but have heard of it from friends in the area.

    Hi Anna

When down in Priorat recently, Joan Asens (winemaker at Orto Vins) spoke highly of Blau BCN - presumably becos they have Orto wines on their list. Their website, all in Catalan, is http://www.blaubcn.com - looks sleek, medium-priced, intriguing. Will report if we get there any time soon, tho it may be too late for your honeymooning friends!

Con Gracia was awesome. Excellent food and service. There are two really good tasting menus with wine pairings and your price range should be just fine.

I had quite a disappointing meal at Con Gracia, thought it was distinctly average. Wine pairings were good, but the food lacked any 'wow' factor (or indeed, much flavour!).

Our stand out meal was Comerc 24.
