If you're going to be anywhere near Baja from Oct. 5 - 10th you might want to check out the Baja California Culinary Fest happening all over the penninsula.

Lots to do, see and eat. Some of the higher profile events are sold out but many of the rest of them are not and don't cost a lot. The Mexican tourism board in Baja has put a lot of resources towards making this event a success and the concept and events have been embraced by most of the major players from chefs and vintners to cooking schools and artisenal producers.

Maybe it's just me but that link isn't working, I'll try to find the info with a search - sounds wonderful, we wanted to come to Baja in October/November but looks like it'll be April now.
