Any good food between airport and cruise ship port?

We're going on a cruise in late October and will arrive at the Singapore aiport with almost no time to stop for food before getting on our ship. Is there anywhere at all worth stopping at or near the cruise ship terminal? Hate to ask this - is there any place decent at all at the airport?

What kind of cuisine are you looking for and what time are you getting in? Unlike airports in the US, Singapore's Changi airport has restaurants which serve food as good as those you'd get downtown.

If you're flying in from the US, you're likely to arrive into Terminal 3, where Crystal Jade Shanghai will serve xiao long bao dumplings & other Shanghainese dishes to a very high standard. If you want to try Cantonese cuisine, then go to Imperial Treasure Cantonese in Crowne Plaza which is linked to Terminal 3.

All 3 terminals are linked by monorail train, so you can move around quite easily. An interesting choice is Pasta de Waraku for Japanese-Italian pasta, or you can try Aston's for steak at very reasonable prices or Saboten for good Japanese food.

See the airport restaurant directory here for other dining choices:

If you choose to dine at the cruise ship terminal (Harbourfront), there are also quite a few good dining choices like Orange Lantern Vietnamese restaurant, Brotzeit for very good German sausages & roasted pork knuckle, Carnivore Brazilian churrascaria, etc. If you fancy fast-food, there are dozens upon dozens of eateries there.

Awesome - thanks for the recommendations. We are flying in from the US and we prefer authentic local cuisine. We'll try Crystal Jade Shanghai at the airport.

We'll be in Shanghai and Hong Kong later if you have any recommendations there we'd appreciate those as well.

      Thanks again!
