Where can I find pawpaws in upper bucks county?

I really want to try them. I did an internet search and see someone will have them at the Wrightstown farmers market, but I work Saturdays. Are there any wild? Any leads welcome.

More common name is papaya, should be easier to find. Product grown in same climate as mangos.

Deluca thats what I thought to, which is why I was very confused by the OP's question as to whether there are any wild around here. I think there is a fruit that is called the paw paw that is native to the Eastern US. I wonder if anyone knows more.

There was a segment on NPR recently that is sure to have given a big awareness boost to pawpaws:

Yup- I've since learned that pawpaws grow all over the place around Bowman's Hill (at least-- maybe lots of other places), but that the short season is passed. Next year!!!
          Thanks.
