  1. There are lots at the St. Paul Farmers Market if you're on the lookout. If I had bought one I'd probably make soup out of it.

    1. Pardon the interruption, folks, but please limit your responses in this thread to sources of pumpkin in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and to pumpkin dishes at local restaurants. Please discuss recipes or ideas for what to do with pumpkin on the Home Cooking board.

      Thank you.

      1. I haven't been there in a while, but The Bad Waitress (26th St and Nicollet Ave S) had/has great (and huge!) pumpkin pancakes--also a fun thing to try making at home.

never been there, may have to check that out, thanks.

        2. I notice the Dairy Queen (no relation) on Ford Parkway in St. Paul has pumpkin pie blizzards. I don't know if they are any good, but they sound good! (Speaking, or typing, as a person with an unfortunate soft spot for soft serve ice cream).
