Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale on tap?

Has anyone seen Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale on tap this year? The bottles have been on sale at the Summerhill LCBO for about two weeks now but I haven't had any success locating the much tastier draught.

I hear the McAuslan Pumpkin Ale is available on tap at Bar Volo and C'est What; a reasonable substitute but not my preference.

Saw it at The Local last week (great pub). Never liked or understood these flavoured beers though. Long live the Reinheitsgebot. ;-)

Barque on Roncesvalles has it on tap

Unless something changed recently, Barque carries only McAuslan beers on tap. So what you saw there was probably the St. Ambroise Pumpkin Ale, not the Great Lakes.

I'm not in Toronto and these places don't look farmilliar to me, but maybe you can give them a call to confirm if they have it.

try Stout on Carlton St. E.
It was there last week and probably still is, but call first if you want to be sure.

Not sure if you have had any luck as of yet but Tequila Bookworm on Queen Street at Portland has it on tap. They have one of best selections of Ontario brewed micros on tap to boot!!!

Had it for the first time at The Local last week and it's delish.

What's it taste like? I find the idea kind of weird.

It's somewhat spicy (in the bottle you can taste cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg) but the spice doesn't overpower (and is a nice complement to) the pumpkin flavor. It's somewhat hoppy and slightly sweet. Hard to imagine all of flavours would taste so fantastic together, but it works.
