About the only "Japanese" BBQ I have tried is Rengaya, on the second floor of Thaniya Plaza, Silom. I'm not an expert on such places, but I found it quite tasty.

I love Honmono Sushi. They have amazing fresh fish and Wagyu Beef (which I think you can bbq). They Wagyu suki yaki was delicious, the meat so tender. It's quite an expensive place but if you like Japanese, you would appreciate quality of the ingredients there.
