Good Jewish Bakery in Williamsburg

Sabina_ Sep 27, 2011 07:42 PM

I am looking for a good challah for Rosh Hashannah. Does anyone know of a good bakery in WIlliamsburg? I have 2 little kids and no car so I don't want to travel too far. I live in Fort Greene, if it helps.

Thank you and Happy (almost) New Year!

There is Oneg Heimishe on Lee Ave. We talked about their babka here http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/739765 but they also make challah that looks good. I think there is another bakery or two on Lee...The Polish bakery on N.8th in W'burg also makes challah.
