Saw a sign in the old Papa Gino's space..... What's the story? How long will it take?

The space has been empty for a few years. Parking is pretty lousy... so it will be interesting if patron's will take over the Filene's lot, or if diners will park in the office complex next door.

Some basic info here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jonathans-Bar-Grille/136900929729755?v=info and here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jonatha... Parking is lousy over there but it really clears out by 6pm most nights. The same is usually true for the notorious traffic in the area. I suppose you could also park across the street and take your chances crossing Needham St.

Yeah, I saw several job postings on Craigslist about this place, though they didn't give a name for it (thanks for this). From one of the job postings: "90 seat moderately upscale contemporary and vibrant restaurant and bar"

        Callahan's 2: Electric Boogaloo?

        I'd go there!

I was hoping for something more imaginative than standard "bar & grill" that serves pizza, nachos, burgers, etc. :-/

Jonathan's will offer a very diverse selection of foods. It will not just be pizza, burgers and nachos as some have posted. Menu will be available soon but there will be ahi tuna, filet mignon, chicken under a brick, fresh fettucine bolognese, etc.

Also, the parking is excellent at that location. There is a covered three story parking garage that is part of the building where the restaurant is located. Traffic can be a bit congested at rush hour but on weekends and dinner time it is no problem at all.

This will be a cool, tasty and fun place to dine and drink!
