Elevation Burger--Rye Brook

cubanat Sep 27, 2011 03:02 PM

Went by today. Not open yet but was given a burger that was made by staff that was training. Pretty darn tasty I must admit. No where near as greasy as a 5G whicch I also love. They will take temps on the burgers. They grind the meat fresh. Sort of like a modern fast food take on fuddruckers (rip central ave on from the 80's) or a more convenient shake shack! very friendly staff. opening this weekend if all goes well.

Fuddrucker's still has several locations in Northern NJ... But if you go to NNJ, skip them and go to BUCU Burger in Paramus...

Went back this weekend and tried to go yesterday but that area had an odd power outage. Burgers are super good. I personally like the single patty kids burger I guess but the wife loved the elevation--double patty double cheese. Place was packed but did not have to wait that long. They may need a better ventilation sytem though as it gets smokey and I left smelling like grill. Other then that the fries were tasty but I will ask for them a bit more well done next time. Very friendly staff and great food. Daughters loved the malted.

gosh I miss fuddruckers. Their salad bar alone was enough to live off of. would take them over Uno's any day

Yes it's not fudduckers-esque inside at all. Almost like a chipotle meets shake shack meets ben & jerry's interior.

Fuddruckers! RIP indeed. Thanks for taking me back, cuba and Salad - how I miss that place. Had my 11th birthday party there and I remember getting an inside view of that Rocky style butcher room! The very long toppings bar was awesome too. Glad to hear Elevation makes a good burger - looking forward to trying it!

I ate at Fuddruckers quite a bit in that pre-Uno location on Central Ave. They had Rocky style raw meat hanging in a room you could see from the entrance. Something tells me the Rye Brook hoities want a gentler decor.
