Roanoke steak reccommendations....

are any of those steak places in Roanoke worth taking a guest ??

    To which of "those" steak places do you refer. I've never know Roanoke to be a steakhouse destination and am curious.

    That said, The Classic Cafe has received high marks for years.

      good point.....I've heard there are some good places right on 377 and the immediate area around the new restaurant area that serve a great steak..plain and simple...nothing fancy...just good food...does that make it easier?

        The original Babes' is in Roanoke. It's been awhile since I've been up there, but Twisted Root and Cowboy Chow moved in, Gerhard's German and Brix Pizza. The "new" area is on Oak St. I google it and see what you find.

        If you're looking for something to impress, I'd look at Classic. They've had a standing success (along with Babes), long before anything else moved in. http://theclassiccafe.com/
