Amish Turkey's or Fresh Organic Turkey's

Is there any place around here that sells Amish Turkey's preferred or has fresh organic turkey's

In the midwest Amish turkeys were pretty easy to get and had a huge taste difference between everything else

Going to be cooking T Day and wanted to be on the lookout for what is going to be the best turkey to get out here

We've bought really excellent turkeys from the Midwestern Meat Market in Mesa. It's the only place I'll buy my Christmas roast, too.

Sprouts has organic turkeys and they are delicious! I buy one every year.

I don't remember, but it is very reasonable. Much less than A.J's and just as good if not better.

Just got the weekly circular yesterday and their Bell and Evans fresh free-range organic turkeys are 3.99/lb

Where do they come from, are they frozen and have you had it before? We're also looking and live nearby. Thanks!

Von Hanson's is a chain from MN and they have an outlet in Chandler

I have not had them before, but I looked at the old thread johnseberg posted it sounds very similar to the amish turkey's we used to get back in the midwest

they confirmed they are fresh never frozen

AJ's sometimes has some pastured birds at Thanksgiving... ask the butcher and order ahead.

Last year, we got our turkey through our CSA. They were ordered from Chiracahua Pasture Raised Meats. They do arrive frozen though.
