Need rec's for Manchester,Vt

My husband and I are headed to Manchester,Vt for the weekend to celebrate his birthday. He will be fly fishing during the day(it is his birthday after all!)

We have a reservation at the Reluctant Panther on Saturday but are looking for rec's for Friday lunch/dinner?

We are real foodies and appreciate good food/wine!

Thanks ahead for help

I would strongly recommend a trip Johnathan's Table in Arlington as a must visit. Well worth the ten minute drive south.

Thank you.....reviews look consistent. I did a horrible job of posting my request and as a result did not get many rec"s so thanks again for posting

Highly recommend the Inn at West View Farm in Dorset – high-end dining in the main dining room, or Asian small plates in the Tavern; also Solo Farm & Table in South Londonderry – Wes Genovart, formerly of Degustation in NYC, has given the former 3 Clock Inn a much-needed makeover.

I never go into the area (I'm up near Barre/Montpelier). If you'd asked about where I'm from, I'd have a whole list to give you. :) I think we just don't have as many people from the area posting here.

(((possibly because there are already so many Manchester threads already)))
