Padron Peppers


Does anyone know where I can buy spanish Padron Peppers in the Las Vegas area?

  1. I just ate them at Julian Serrano Last night. They were ok. Could have been cooked a little longer. Maybe there's a local farm doing them. Otherwise maybe happy quail farm in the bay area could ship then to you! Good luck!

      Thanks :) I had them at firefly too they were great (not quite as good as my mother in law's but the best I've had outside of the Basque Country, I guess someone is growing them somewhere locally. Will definitely check out happy quail farm. I found some online at La Tienda, but they want $35 to ship them! I've also read somewhere that Korean peppers called Shishito are a good substitute. The hunt continues !

        Yes, for sure, the shishito are sooo good! Less spicy I think. And ask at whole foods if they'll bring them in for you. I seem to recall that they special order things for people!

    2. I found some shishito's at the asian supermarket on Spring Mountain. They were just labelled Japanese sweet peppers. They were great :)
