Mexican on UES?

Looking for good Mexican on the UES for a Saturday nite. 4 people getting together who haven't seen either other for a while, so would like to be able to hear what my friends are saying (if thats possible). Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks.

  1. The newer El Paso Taqueria on Lexington @104th Street is the most comfortable and attractive of the 3 locations. When I was there recently with 3 others we had a large table, very good food and service, and definitely not too noisy for conversation.

    1. I really like Maz Mezcal, and their margaritas are awesome! I went with a party of four and we had a wonderful time catching up. Be sure to get the banana dessert, they will come and cook the dish right in front of you!

agreed! El Paso has been hit or miss for me lately.

        1. Not your traditional Mexican, but I like Itzocan Bistro on 101 and Lexington.
