Brady Bunch visits Manhattan

Live outsde city, my family is visiting from Boston, ages 10-75 and all inbetween. We are a party of 9 looking for dinner suggestions. Something casual but also want to experience the ambient of the city. Would prefer not to travel, seeing an early show on 46th and 9th.

Marseille is a great suggestion. I also like Ember Room for Asian barbecue.

9 of you, I thought the Brady Bunch was an 8-some, I guess you're bringing Alice

Anyway, 9th Ave in the 40's and 50's is ideal for good ethnic eats. My fave in that location is Marseille, a nice French Med bistro, there are a few Italians that come to mind; Vice Versa, Cara Mia and Maria Pia are all solid. Plenty of Thai available too

Besides Marseille, which is a fantastic option, also consider Nizza, also along 9th avenue (Italian) Would avoid most of the spots on restaurant row, as most of them are tourist traps.
