ISO Boy's Sweet Sixteen Party Venue

I would like to have a 16th birthday celebration for my son who will turn 16 in mid-November. I'm thinking about maybe 20 to 30 kids -- boys and girls. It's my general impression that most of these kids are not foodies at all, so a very fancy place wouldn't be worth the money. I'm thinking of a Mexican place that might have a small private room, or another ethnic restaurant, or someplace where kids could let loose a bit between courses and have some fun in addition to eating dinner. Although we live in Westchester, most of my son's friends live in Manhattan, so we would like to find a spot there -- particularly uptown, either east or west.
